LifePoint Christian Fellowship is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team.
Jay is the founding and lead pastor of LifePoint Christian Fellowship. He has served as student pastor at churches in Mississippi and as a campus pastor in Virginia.
Jay has a conversational style in teaching the Bible and tries to bring deep spiritual truths to an everyday understanding and application. He has a Masters in Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Liberty University.
Jay is married to Julie and they have 6 children and one daughter-in-law.

Director of Creative Arts
Julie has always been a big part of the ministry at the various churches where her family has served. She has also been quick to use the gifts that God has given her for the benefit of the church. Julie directs the Worship Arts Ministry at LifePoint which includes the creative arts at all of our gatherings from LifePoint Kids to The Point (LifePoint Student gathering) to our Sunday morning experience.
Julie earned her Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Mississippi College and has taught public school music, directed children's, youth, and adult choirs and taught Kindermusik. Julie's passion for Jesus and for music is evident as she leads LifePoint to a deeper level of faith expression.
Julie is married to Jay and they have 6 children and one daughter-in-law.

Nikki and her husband are graduates of Liberty University and came to Hampton Roads to join another church planting team. When their time with that group ended they joined what eventually became LifePoint Christian Fellowship. We are thankful to have Nikki leading our ministry to children and their families.
Nikki is married to Joel and they have two children.

Carlton has always enjoyed working with and mentoring young people. His work at St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children has given him an opportunity to influence the lives of both children and families. Now he is putting that passion to work at LifePoint as he directs our ministry to students and their families.
Carlton is graduate of Old Dominion University and is currently continuing his education through Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Jennifer and they have two children.

Laura has been invested in LifePoint from the very beginning, but in November 2018 she joined the staff to help with administrative needs. Her organizational skills have been instrumental in helping LifePoint stay focused on those things that matter most.
Laura is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio where she met her husband Todd. They have 4 children.
